Your sounds, on Linux.

Choose the format that fits your distribution. Each download includes the same Saesth app for ambient, keyboard, and mouse sounds.

RPM

For distributions using RPM packages, such as Fedora. Open the downloaded file with your package installer.

For distributions using DEB packages, such as Debian and Ubuntu. Open the downloaded file with your package installer.

AppImage

A standalone app. In the file properties, allow it to run as a program, then open it to launch Saesth.

Add your first sounds.

Once Saesth is installed, download the default sound pack and add the ZIP to the packs folder. The pack setup is the same on Windows and Linux.

Using Wayland and missing keyboard or mouse sounds?

Wayland: keyboard and mouse permissions

If keyboard and mouse sounds do not play, Saesth may need permission to read your input devices. On distributions using the input group, run this command in a terminal:

sudo usermod -aG input "$USER"

Then fully log out and log back in, and restart Saesth. Closing the app alone is not enough.

This grants applications running under your account access to keyboard and mouse input across apps. If the input group does not exist, follow your distribution's input-device permission instructions.
